Our Client is China’s largest (in terms of production, sales and R&D) manufacturer of innovative industrial carbide cutting tools. Headquartered in Zhuzhou (Hunan), they operate their businesses on a global basis in the following six segments: Automotive, Aerospace, Energy, Shipbuilding, Military and Mould and Die. They are now looking to tap further into the North American market as they have experienced a growing demand for their advanced solutions there.

 

Responsibilities:


You will assess market potential, channels and partners to sell our Client’s solutions in this Region. You will report directly to the Overseas Operations Head. Other responsibilities, but not limited to, include:


1/ In association with the OOH, define the long-term regional sales plan and implement key strategiesthat secure commitment to the objectives;

2/ Set-up and manage (including assistance) the dealers’ network and ensure balance between the market, dealers, industries and government;

3/ Assume full responsibility for sales and profitability targets including budget and forecasts in the area/territories; Establish marketing plans that enhance the development, promotion, sales and profit realization of our Client’s solutions;

4/ Maintain and expand business with existing customers as well as potential customers through proactive CRM;

5/ Gather, analyse and communicate business intelligence information regarding competitors, market trends and business potentials in the area;

6/ Build-up and manage a strong and passionate sales team to support the Client’s regional sales plan;

7/ Manage sales operations with close cooperation with the Client’s cost management department.

 

Requirements:

 

Bachelor or Master holder within mechanical engineering-related domain, you will present with a solid 3 to 5 years’ experience in the related field. At least 2-3 years sales management experience (tooling-related industry) in a budgeted sales area is important to be successful in this position. Your excellent management, organizational and communication abilities will allow you to come across as a strategic partner to our client management.
