Our Shandong-headquartered client is a fast-growing global energy equipment and services provider. Last year they topped the “50 Best Chinese Enterprises 2016 in Petroleum & Petrochemical Equipment Manufacturing Industry” ranking. They provide oilfield engineering services, turnkey contracting services and petroleum equipment globally.

 

Responsibilities:


1/ National market and industry research, analysis and marketing planning:

    Conduct national market and industry research through the use of publicly available resources;

    Guide the development of overseas business via the analysis of value points;

    Strategically guide overseas business development for the group using market analysis to formulate a marketing plan appropriate to the local market conditions, industry trends, and in line with the overall marketing strategy;


2/ Investigation, analysis of and response to competitors:

    Investigate competitors through the use of publicly available resources;

    Assist front-line customer managers by developing a comprehensive understanding of competitors through the use of comparative analysis;

    Develop targeted response strategies to competitors using market analysis and research;

    Strategically guide the development of the group from the standpoint of technical development, investment cooperation, market composition and other aspects;


3/ “Golden Ideas” marketing incubator:

    Create innovative and advanced marketing models, marketing programs, marketing tools, etc. to promote the development of the industry and the corporation;


4/ In-depth customer survey, analysis, and planning:

    Carry out in-depth, individualized customer research, including: customer pain points, planning, decision-making chain, market rivals, etc. using international marketing platforms;

    Develop a deep understanding of the customer, discover and anticipate customer needs and demands and develop appropriate strategy through insights gained from the back-end technology platform, financing platform, production and operation platform and other company capabilities;

 

Requirements:


1/ Bachelor degree or above;

2/ Able to use English as working language;

3/ At least 3 years of work experience in Oil, gas extraction and service industry; more than 2 years of international customer development, market research;

4/ Strong logical thinking ability;

5/ Good communication skills and team spirit;

6/ Strong ability to implement company strategy.
