English Teacher in a private English training institute in Nanjing. The school has three branches with over 1000 students and offers great support and opportunities for advancement to dedicated teachers. Seeking full time English teachers to teach small classes of up to 6 students.

 

THE EMPLOYER

Private English training institute in Nanjing. One of the best providers of private English education in Nanjing and the only one registered with the local education bureau. THE POSITION

English teacher

-teach English to students aged 5-15, some adults

-subjects include English, science, social science, geography, etc.

-most classes have 1-6 students

-evaluate student progress and provide ongoing guidance for improvement 

-revise or develop the previous courses

-participate in the school’s staff meetings and various activities on working days

-40 hours/week, 2 days off/week

 

REQUIREMENTS

-fluent in English without strong accent, speak English at an idiomatic level 

-notarized Bachelor’s Degree or above

-120 hour TEFL certificate (two-year experience equals TEFL or 2 years post graduate certificate) or other teaching qualification (or willing to obtain one)

-must be able to obtain a clear background check

-the ability to live abroad for at least one year

-physically fit and in good health

-positive attitude, reliable and be able to work in a dynamic environment

 

SALARY AND BENEFITS

-up to 18,000 RMB/month based on experience and performance

-demo bonus - 1% of sign-up amount (typically 1000-4000 RMB/month)

-incentive bonus for extra teaching hours

-airfare bonus - 6000 RMB after contract completed

-contract renewal bonus - up to 6000 RMB

-airplane ticket to China

-settling in allowance - 12,000 RMB

-holidays - 5-10 paid annual leave days, 1 paid holiday for Christmas, 11 Chinese public holidays

-paid medical check and health insurance

-long-term Professional Career Plan: promoting international teachers to be a trainer, curriculum designer, senior trainer or senior curriculum designer

-free Chinese language class for international teachers (to help teachers to pass HSK)

-ongoing team-building activities

-2-3 times paid domestic or oversea travel each year 

-birthday and other monthly benefits 

-settle in service: arrival assistance; airport pick up 

-living assistance: setting up SIM card, bank account, transportation card, apartment rental, etc.
