Regional Business Development - Outreach Manager with an American education organization in Beijing. The company offers college-level research opportunities to exceptional high school students to work one-on-one with leading American professors on original research. Seeking a foreign professional with fluent Chinese to be an entrepreneurial team member for making the most of partnerships and helping students in China understand the company's offerings. This position is responsible for coordinating and facilitating information sessions and increasing the number of qualified student program applications.

THE POSITION

Regional Business Development - Outreach Manager

-Increase programs’ selectivity and reputation among the highest caliber high school students

-Significantly increase the number of qualified student applications to the programs

-Develop and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships with schools, student organizations and other organizations in Mainland China

-Maintain and increase rapid growth of establishment of scholastic partnerships

-Design and deliver bilingual presentations to students, parents and partners and increase the average rate of applicants per presentation

-Research and assess caliber of institutions

-Help students, parents and academic partners at all stages in the application process understand creative, unique, and challenging research programs

-Provide comprehensive support to students throughout the program

-Identify, research, prioritize, and develop new potential school and organization partners

-Propose and open new channels to gain recognition for the Research Program

-Work cross functionally to improve processes and student experience

-Prepare regional travel itineraries

 

REQUIREMENTS

-Graduate of a prominent American university with a bachelor’s degree or higher

-Minimum of 2 years' business development and/or customer service experience, creating and developing relationships with Chinese contacts at various levels

-Student-centric mindset and passion for outstanding education experience

-Excellent oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills

-Highly self-motivated and directed with ability to work independently as well as coordinating and supporting a team

-Experience drafting plans to meet ambitious goals

-Fluent English and fluent Chinese language skills required

-Willing to live in Beijing and travel frequently within China

-Strong interest in education, innovation, and learning

-Interest in working with and helping ambitious high school students from around the world

-A significant portion of professional experience should be gained in China

 

SALARY AND BENEFITS
