Community Manager with a company providing turnkey solutions for product design, development, prototyping, crowdfunding, and mass production in Shenzhen. Seeking a tech-savvy professional experienced in social media, PR, and promotional events to act as the face and voice of the brand and manage all community communications. 

 

THE EMPLOYER

The company brings product concepts from idea to market. It offers complete solutions for prototyping and development of electronic, mechanical, and mechatronic products.

 

THE POSITION

Community Manager

-Create and launch social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies

-Provide engaging text, image and video content for social media platforms

-Actively participate in a wide variety of content creation activities such as blogging, vlogging, etc.

-Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner

-Monitor and report on online and offline feedback and reviews

-Organize and participate in events/meetups to build community and boost brand awareness

-Coordinate with Marketing, PR and Communications to ensure brand consistency

-Liaise with the R&D department to stay updated on new products and features

-Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists/influencers

-Continue to increase brand engagement, by engaging in, and encouraging conversations both online and offline

-Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends

 

REQUIREMENTS

-BA/BS in marketing and/or business

-Proven work experience as a community manager

-Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)

-Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g. repeat attendance at events)

-Excellent verbal communication and public speaking skills

-Excellent writing skills

-Hands on experience with social media management for brands

-Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics

-Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels

-Attention to detail and ability to multitask

-Basic Chinese (Mandarin) preferable

-Experience in the IoT/hardware product development, outsourcing or offshoring industry desireable
